It allows you to mount the VND/CPL system on a lens with a 62 mm thread, providing a stable base and a secure fit for the filter. The ring has an outer diameter of 91.8 mm, is 4.95 mm thick, and weighs 21.4 g, so it does not add significant weight to your photography or videography setup.

A Stable Base for the VND/CPL Filter
